Day 24: Plan for the day : Darbhanga Patna Allahabad Lucknow. Target Kms. 740 kms As I had fallen short of target of reaching Patna by 150 kms yesterday, I had quite a bit of covering up to do so I started off by 6:00AM, planning to reach Patna by about 9:30 so that I could quickly have an oil change and head out towards Lucknow through Allahabad route as I was suggested that would be the best way to reach Lucknow. On the bridge over river Ganga (Ganges). So riding through Muzzafarpur I reached Patna by about 9:30 AM crossing river Ganga. Locating a Royal Enfied service center took me another 45 minutes in the city traffic of Patna. It took the technicians about 45 minutes to change the oil, oil filter & do a bit of adjustments. In peak traffic, I was stuck with still a long long way to go about 590 kms. By about 11:30 AM I was on the outskirts of Patna riding towards Allahabad. Day 23: Plan: Pathsala Siliguri Patna

Day 23: Target: Pathsala Siliguri Patna Target Kms: 850 kms Targetting 850 kms today was a little optimistic as I had not done that since I took #StormShadow. The most I had done in a day was 881 kms but that was on the first day and the roads mostly were butter smooth and moreover it was Grey Stallion. Nonetheless I wanted to reach Patna by end of the day as I had to get an oil change done so according to the plan, I could get up relaxed the next day, get the oil change done and then leave Patna. So I got up earlier than other days ie 5:00AM and started off towards Siliguri. The route I had planned was Pathsala-Bongaingaon-Alipurduar-Dhupguri-Jalpaiguri-Thakurganj-Forbesganj-Darbhanga-Muzzafarpur-Patna. The roads passed through a beautiful tea gardens. My ride became slower as I could not use my phone for Navigation as the charger on the bike was not working. I had to depend on locals to find the best routes and the roads in good condition. Day 22: Plan: Tezpur Itanagar Siliguri

Day 22: Plan for the day: Tezpur-Itanagar-Siliguri. Planned kms: 880 kms Got up early morning as Tashi had messaged me back saying it would take me about 4 hours to reach Itanagar and that he would be at the entry point of Arunachal Pradesh as I would need ILP to enter Arunachal. So I started off early at about 6:00AM hoping to reach by 10 ish. The roads were decent and I reached by about 10:00. I was expecting a couple of riders to come with Tashi but there were about 7 riders who had come. I was very happy to meet so many riders of the Royal Arunachal Riders. Breakfast with Royal Arunachal Riders We had breakfast, then I was honoured to be gifted the Tribal Thumpers badge by Royal Arunachal Riders honoured . We then took permission at the entry gate as we could not take ILP since it was a National Holiday and Biki Punung & Tashi Bros personally took my responsibility, gave his documents and told them that the ILP would be submitted the next day. Day 21:Imphal-Kohima-Dimapur-Tezpur

Day 21: Imphal-Kohima-Dimapur-Tezpur Target Kms: 425. Going to bed last night I was praying that hopefully the next morning would be a great day. I got up by 5:30 AM planning to start off before 6:00AM as I also had to get the shocks checked at the Dimapur KTM. I started off by 5:50 AM and refueled #StormShadow and hit the Asia Highway 1 back to reach Dimapur by 11:00AM. Outskirts of Imphal  On the way I was caught by a little heavy fog & drizzle which delayed me to certain extent. I stopped for tea as the drizzle was quite heavy but later the weather became awesome and the ride was marvelous but for the roads. The surroundings were too attractive and I had to stop a lot to take pictures. Overall it was an amazing ride till Kohima.
